Foreign Trade Zone No. 196

Alliance has been designated Foreign Trade Zone No. 196. Foreign Trade Zone designation provides many companies that import and/or export products significant cost savings through deferral or elimination of duty, elimination of inventory taxes and elimination of consolidated merchandise processing fees. Products can be stored, manufactured, repackaged or exhibited at either a lower duty rate or completely free from duty and inventory taxes. 

Triple Freeport Inventory Tax Exemption

Triple Freeport Inventory Tax Exemption allows companies meeting certain criteria to eliminate inventory tax on product that leaves the state of Texas within 175 days. The exemption applies to the primary taxing jurisdictions – city, county and school district. 

Alliance Operating Services

Alliance Operating Services serves as a Public FTZ and provides third-party logistics, air cargo build/break, warehousing, fulfillment, assembly and light manufacturing, document storage, archival services and computer backup. Alliance Operating Services also serves as one of three Dallas/Fort Worth locations to operate a Centralized Examination Station for imported and exported goods. Each of its services helps tenants with their day-to-day operations. 

Alliance Air / Aviation Services

Alliance Air Services manages operations at Fort Worth Alliance Airport. Special services, such as aircraft rescue and firefighting, and the airport’s FAA control tower are available 24 hours a day. An on-site US Customs office also is available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.  As an amenity, Alliance Aviation Services provides pilot and aircraft services at the Fixed Base Operation (FBO) at Fort Worth Alliance Airport. Pilot and aircraft services for customers include fueling, aircraft maintenance, hangar space and cargo handling. For extended stays, the FBO staff will make hotel reservations, coordinate ground transportation, supply catering and even make reservations for local restaurants and shows.

 In addition, Alliance customers can utilize the available conference room/meeting facilities at the Alliance FBO. The Aviation Services Team is on-hand to help with meeting coordination and catering.
