Runway Extension - The Federal Aviation Administration has approved funding for the extension of the main runway from 9,600 feet to 13,000 feet. The two-phased project will allow fully loaded and fully fueled aircraft to fly nonstop to the most remote airports in Europe and Asia from AllianceTexas. The runway extension will further add to the unparalleled transportation access provided within the AllianceTexas development.

35W Coalition - The 35W Coalition comprises a group of concerned citizens, business and land owners, developers and local and state officials who have a stated mission to Keep 35W Moving North by finding solutions to our transportation and traffic problems, and encouraging quality development along I-35W in north Fort Worth and Tarrant County.

The 35W Coalition's efforts are focused on two areas:

• To significantly improve traffic flow from Meacham Boulevard to SH 114 (the Texas Motor Speedway) and the east/west corridor along Loop 820, and 
• To foster quality development and adopt development guidelines along the North Corridor
